"Tommy 2X4" was done for a window film company from their 2-dimensional illustration of their logo.   As with any of Matt's carvings, the 3-dimensional carving is copyrighted and may not be duplicated in a 3-dimensional format without fair royalties to Matt.

The angel above was a special request by a client who wanted it for his wife on Mother's Day.  It was carved from a fallen Bradford pear tree that she and her late grandmother had loved.  The log he sent weighed in excess of 80 pounds! and after squaring it off with a log log splitting axe, Matt was left with a few thin "splinters" besides the large "core".  It turned out that Matt couldn't cut the large core on his bandsaw and made this smaller piece from one of the splinters.  He hopes to be able to cut the larger piece and make a larger angel in the future, but this piece will serve it purpose until then.  This is an original design by Matt, including the ponytail.
